Nature Club Inaugurated
This year's nature club activities was inaugrated by Sri.S.Sivadas Sir, Wildlife Warden, Silent Valley National Park. Rexen Jose gave the welcome speech, Shajimon presided over the function. More than 75 nature club members attended the function. Sivadas sir spoke about the history and the present status of Silent valley national park and the role of forests on the life of humans. The need to raise unpleasant questions for the sake of humanity was stressed upon by him. Even one person can make a difference, so whom are you waiting for?, that was his question to the students.

TOURISM CLUB 'Prayaanam' INAUGURATED
PANDIKKAD:- The tourism club of GHSS Pandikkad “PRAYAANAM”was inaugurated by Travel PhotographerRasheed Kottakkal. Travelling is an inevitable part of one’s life and anychance to travel should be utilized to gather experience, he said in hisinaugural address. The slide show of hisphotos on Himalayan expedition was an out of box experience for the students.
Mr.T.P.Joy, the Organising Secretary of the Youth HostelsAssociation of India (YHAI), Malappuram Chapter, opined that Travel should bepreferred to Tourism as the later one has become an industry itself, whichgives lesser experience to the traveler.The aim of YHAI is to promote the spirit of travelling among the youth.
The function was presided over by the School PrincipalP.P.Suhara. S.Prasad,Teacher coordinatorwelcomed the gathering and Aswin, Student coordinator expressed the vote ofthanks. Rexen Jose, Shafad Hamza, Sujithand Gayathri felicitated the function.
